Len Cassamas is the long-suffering creator of
Next in the Series. As mythic and elusive as the Yeti, Len has spent
more time on the lam than a lonely shepherd. He has, over the years,
been able to afford to refine his art by selling bits of his soul to
various corporations. In a younger incarnation, he appeared on stage in
roles in plays ranging from a significant portion of the Neil Simon
canon to “Look Homeward, Angel,” in which he played someone 40 years
older than he and a commensurate amount wiser.
His greatest compliment as an actor came from a woman who saw him in a
dinner theater production of “Play it Again, Sam,” in which he played
the lead, Allen. “I saw Woody Allen in this in New York, and you were
better.”
He’s always flattered himself that he gave her the only reasonable
response, “You’re misguided, but thank you.”
He’s been writing since he was 14, and hopes to be as good at it as he’d
like to be someday. He’s happily married and lives with his wife and son
in Atlanta.

Stephanie Cassamas prefers to remain
anonymous. She’s really a
photographer,
but consented to help out on
Next in the Series because she’s an all-around good egg.

Sam Cassamas is seven and a full-time student
and kid. Prior to his recording debut with Next in the Series, he
appeared in such school productions as “Under the Kapok Tree” and “Long
Day’s Journey into Night.” He has developed several magical powers, such
as dematerializing whenever his room needs cleaning and making his
allowance disappear. His current goal is to grow up to be a radio actor.

Tom O'Neill spends way too much time in pool halls.
His recent claim to fame is winning a single game of 9-ball against
Jennifer Barretta during her exhibition at
The Blue Cube on November
16,
2005. He won one of Jennifer's nice new McDermott
cues,
which he promptly turned over to Lili
(see below). He lent his audio production skills, musical talents,
voice characterizations and website construction skills to the Next
In The Series project. He's currently working on a film score for an
independent movie,
Doing Agatha. Tom is sorry if
anyone thinks the stuff on the
swag
page is actually for sale, but if someone sends Len a real order with
real money he will deny having ever said that.

Lili Fuller is a tech wizard, gourmet chef
and bon vivant. She is known for her sparkling repartee, broad
knowledge of classic literature and a deep distrust of George W.
Bush. Don't be surprised if, while watching a film with scenes set
in various European and Asian cities, she points out a particular
shot and exclaims:
"I've been there!" Her fervent hope is that 2006 isn't nearly as
bad for her as 2005 turned out to be.
